Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2025
This page explains what cookies are, which ones the Willowmark website uses, what they do and how you can manage your preferences. We aim to keep this straightforward and plain.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work properly, to remember your preferences and to help website owners understand how their site is being used.
Cookies are not programs and they cannot run code, collect personal information from your device beyond what you have supplied, or install software. You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies
These are necessary for the website to function. They cannot be switched off. They do not store personally identifiable information.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookieConsent | Stores your cookie preference (accept/reject) | 1 year |
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and anonymous. We use these only if you consent.
| Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Page views, session data | Up to 2 years |
Marketing cookies
These may be used to track visits to the site for advertising measurement purposes. We only activate these if you consent.
Preference cookies
These remember choices you make — such as language or region settings — to personalise your experience. Currently we do not actively set preference cookies beyond the consent cookie.
Cookie duration
- Session cookies — expire when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (see table above). You can delete them at any time via your browser settings.
